Joel Mataway

Hello! My name is Joel. I will probably be providing the least amount of content for this site, but that is because I am busy doing other things. What things you ask? (Well, even if you didn’t ask) I am attending school for a degree in Microsoft Networking Technologies. I hope to soon be an awesome IT guy. I also work part-time at a small ink re-filling shop called Cartridge World. It is nothing exciting, but it pays for the bills. As a side job I also do website design. I really enjoy that work and hope I can turn it into something to compliment my IT work for the rest of my working

life. Even if that doesn’t pan out, making some extra money right now is nice as well. That is just about every secular thing that takes up my time.

As for my technology tastes? Google is one of my favorite companies. I am a big fan of the Android operating system (iPhone users everywhere just threw up).  You can definitely expect me to write some articles on Android and everything that goes with it. As for computers, I am most familiar with Windows. I have used Apple products, but they just aren’t my style. If I wanted things that simple, I wouldn’t have gotten into computers in the first place. I plan on soon transitioning to Linux. Ubunutu will be the beginning for me and from there, who knows where it will go. I also play my PS3 once in a while, but video games have severely fallen on my list of priorities since I started working. Now they are just a social activity with my buds.

TRICKY

Howdy, my name is Tricky and I live on the second floor.  My main area of interest/expertise is toys.  Don’t get me wrong, I love the geek too.  Whether it be video games, Mac, PC, or any Apple stuff, I’m definitely interested.  However, I am truly a collector at heart.  From growing up collecting baseball cards to my recent obsession with designer vinyl and other urban art, I have always collected items.  My interests include kaiju, vinyl toys, and art in general.  Some of my favorite companies are Super7, Gargamel, Disney, Kidrobot, and of course many, many artists.  You’ll see us do blurbs on them at different times and of course check out our favorite links to artists and other companies.
